About guided visualisation
"You can bring into your life more power,
more wealth, more health, more happiness, andmore joy by learning to contact and release the hidden power of your subconscious mind."
Dr. Joseph Murphy
As within, so without
Guided visualisations are the easiest and most enjoyable way to experience all the positive benefits of deep meditation without having to do anything except close your eyes, fire up your imagination, and listen well. A soothing voice, sometimes accompanied by specially chosen instruments, takes you on an inner journey towards a state of profound relaxation. There are no techniques for you to learn, no special clothing needed, no mantras to chant nor any particular postures to adopt. And yet, it’s a tool that can help you access your most inspired and creative self, while also having a powerful impact on your mental health and wellbeing.
This is because your imagination - the source of your inner vision - is actually your personal superpower. Since your subconscious can't distinguish between seeing something with your mind's eye or your physical eye, you have an internal powerhouse to call on to help manifest positive changes in your life.
At Hush Hour, we use nature-focused imagery to re-awaken a sense of belonging in the natural world that supports and enriches our life. Frequently channelled in the moment, our visualisations - into which positive suggestions and images are inserted - are designed to gently guide you into an altered state of consciousness and deep rest. Each meditation is effective both as stand-alone practice, or as a precursor to a sound bath; in which case, it becomes a fantastic tool to prepare you for the powerful vibrational work that follows.
Focus is the key
What you imagine, you create
Words are spells. In the realm of causality - the pre-manifestation state - the inner dialogue of your thoughts is a form of conjuring. Your personal musings create templates which, combined with your attention, and given enough consistent intention will begin to solidify into your reality.
This is because, while thoughts may appear to us to be intangible, ephemeral things, they trigger responses in the personal energy field that surrounds you from birth. The dominant emotional state that you cultivate thus becomes your core vibration or energy signature, which magnetises similar frequencies into your life experience for better or worse. As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for, as you might just get it!
Once the power of the mind is recognised and harnessed, it is possible to move out of surviving into thriving; re-igniting true creative flow and maintaining a state of inner calm - no matter what emotion-triggering storms are raging in the outside world.
Buddha was correct when he declared, 'What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.'
